"Castellamre del Golfo, like many other towns in Sicily is a great place to visit and use it as a location for visiting the region. It really saddens us to see that garbage is to be found everywhere outside city limits. Even it being an serious environmental problem it also portrays an image of neglect and indifference by the Sicilians, what is really a contrast if you see how proud they are of their island."
