"I had laid out a comprehensive plan to search for a house or apartment in Sicily. Our first stop was Castellammare del Golfo. My wife looked around and declared, "That's it, I don't want to look anywhere else, we're finding a house here". So, we are soon closing on an apartment here. We absolutely love it here."

"We discovered a real gem! Castellammare del Golfo is stunning. The locals are extremely kind, out going and friendly. They made us feel welcome everywhere we visited. The food was delicious, the scenery was unmatched but the good-hearted people made this an unforgettable stay. And yes, we will be returning! Ciao! "

"Tourist Office has room for improvement, e.g. town map with directions and one way roads or proactive information what is closed the same day ( Tonnara at Scopello/ —> closed one day same day we asked)
