My recent holiday in Castellammare del Golfo was nothing short of magical. Nestled on the northern coast of Sicily, this charming town exceeded all expectations with its picturesque alleys and vibrant nightlife.
The quaint, narrow streets of Castellammare del Golfo are a delight to wander through, each corner revealing a new slice of local life. Whether exploring during the day or after dusk, the atmosphere is always lively and inviting.
The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the beaches and coves scattered along the coastline. From the pristine sands of Guidaloca Beach to the secluded beauty of Cala Bianca, each spot offered its own unique charm and crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
Beyond the beaches, the town boasts a wealth of activities to suit every taste. History buffs can explore the ancient ruins and architecture, while adventure-seekers can indulge in water sports and hiking in the nearby Zingaro Nature Reserve.
Evenings in Castellammare del Golfo are a gastronomic delight. The town is teeming with restaurants and bars offering a diverse array of Sicilian cuisine. From seafood pasta at family-run trattorias to freshly baked cannoli enjoyed at a sidewalk café, every meal was a culinary adventure.

"Thé bus accommodation is not proposed on Google map. I arrived by bus. There are some activity that I couldnt do because there are no transport to thé vinery"

"Very nice town with lovely people. Has everything that you could possibly need when on holidays.
The only downside is the rubbish scattered everywhere on the outskirts as well as in many places in the town itself, heartbreaking."

"Bisogna migliorare molto la pulizia delle strade e delle scarpate (allo stato praticamente inesistente) così da evitare discariche a cielo aperto (vedasi, per esempio, tratto di strada per raggiungere la playa),
rivedere e aggiungere adeguata cartellonistica stradale (specie per i sensi unici), tanti edifici da ristrutturare. Per la passeggiata serale si passa praticamente solo davanti a ristoranti, pochi negozi e poca varietà. "

"Ho evidenziato una scarsa presenza di cestini per la spazzatura sparsi per il centro. Chi come me ha un cagnolino, incontra difficoltà nel smaltire gli escrementi del proprio cane, che da persona civile raccoglie."
